Ivar Brask started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Palle Paalgard in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Duset saved Sundborn IF from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Emanuel Uter got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when FC Hackspett U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kálmán Mihály didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Salah in the 12th minute of play forced FC Hackspett U21's goalkeeper Sergio Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Goycochea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stellan Wallmark in the 13th minute of play. Sergio Goycochea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stellan Wallmark went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 20 minutes into the game, Pål Arvidsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Hackspett U21's Fred Ånger quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 23 minutes of play, Sundborn IF's Stellan Wallmark made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergio Goycochea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emil Duset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Brask, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stellan Wallmark in the 37th minute of play forced FC Hackspett U21's goalkeeper Sergio Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palle Paalgard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Lars-Erik Klemensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the game, Stellan Wallmark cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sergio Goycochea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Salah to strike the kick off in the second half. Jarl Axelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Sergio Goycochea made a huge save. Palle Paalgard struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Emil Duset didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Hackspett U21. Sergio Goycochea made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Stellan Wallmark sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 66 in the game by Jarl Axelsson from a close distance when the talented Sergio Goycochea managed to make a qualified save. FC Hackspett U21's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Sundborn IF's Jarl Axelsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sergio Goycochea. That made the score 0-5 after 76 minutes of play. In the 80th minute Karol Mentis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Duset saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Goycochea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Wallmark in the 83rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Sundborn IF's Sergio Goycochea threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sven Lind, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sundborn IF's Emil Duset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palle Paalgard in the 85th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Sven Lind dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sergio Goycochea, 0-6. In the 94th minute Emanuel Uter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Duset saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Goycochea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stellan Wallmark in the 96th minute. Sundborn IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
