Clube do Remo MZ's Tiaguinho Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zikri Eygül in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Zikri Eygül suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Durval Pitta charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Durval Pitta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave MZetowe Mastodonty a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Candido Luzaide, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Clube do Remo MZ's Tiaguinho Netto. 0-1. MZetowe Mastodonty were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Clube do Remo MZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eugeniusz Mentis took the corner. MZetowe Mastodonty's Eugeniusz Mentis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tiaguinho Netto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 29th minute, Khamzat Chimaev made a precise shot to the right of Tiaguinho Netto. Clube do Remo MZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Khamzat Chimaev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiaguinho Netto having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khamzat Chimaev in the 32nd minute of play forced Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiaguinho Netto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 43rd minute, Khamzat Chimaev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiaguinho Netto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Tiaguinho Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khamzat Chimaev in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Khamzat Chimaev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiaguinho Netto. That made the score 0-6 in the 54 minute of play. Clube do Remo MZ's Tiaguinho Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khamzat Chimaev in the 57th minute of play. Clube do Remo MZ's Tiaguinho Netto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Clube do Remo MZ from getting a goal against them. When Luiz Fernando Britto fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube do Remo MZ's protests and gave Luiz Fernando Britto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MZetowe Mastodonty booed when Clube do Remo MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fernando Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiaguinho Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roch Haszczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Tiaguinho Netto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Khamzat Chimaev showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 67 minute of play. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Netto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Khamzat Chimaev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Tiaguinho Netto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Clube do Remo MZ's zone, Khamzat Chimaev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiaguinho Netto came out of the goal and Khamzat Chimaev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Khamzat Chimaev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Tiaguinho Netto made a huge save. Tiaguinho Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khamzat Chimaev in the 89th minute of the match. Gernando Maciel's late challenge caught a MZetowe Mastodonty's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gernando Maciel helped the player get up and apologised. Gernando Maciel hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Clube do Remo MZ's Tiaguinho Netto got control of the ball when Khamzat Chimaev tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over MZetowe Mastodonty could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Clube do Remo MZ throughout the match.
