In the 5th minute of the game Ian Aksan made a throw-in which Uum Bel played forward. When Iwan Banach came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Kickers United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iwan Banach couldn't finish the play. Cederik Huts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xabier 黄忠 in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Lucky Star were awarded a corner. Décio Leme went to the cornerflag to take it. Lucky Star's Joel Cresenciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Savino in the 17th minute of play. Joel Cresenciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Savino in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Savino in the 22nd minute of play forced Lucky Star's goalkeeper Joel Cresenciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Luca Savino made a precise shot to the right of Joel Cresenciano. Lucky Star's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Iwan Banach held his arms out in dispair when he, after a nice solo performance in the 34th minute, finished the attack by shooting the ball on the wrong side of the right post. With an all-out effort, Kickers United's Joel Cresenciano threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luca Savino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ian Aksan made in the 38th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Uum Bel. Cederik Huts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xabier 黄忠 in the 41st minute of play. After 41 played minutes Kickers United got a freekick which was hit by Dino Maquiano. Lucky Star's Joel Cresenciano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Lucky Star from getting a goal against them. After 48 minutes Lucky Star's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomás Firmin who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Kickers United's corner Tomás Firmin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joel Cresenciano quite easily take care of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luca Savino was the one to do the kick off. Joel Cresenciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Savino, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Lucky Star's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Savino came free, but Joel Cresenciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Dragoş Socoriceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kickers United's Jorge Reijnders was substituted for Luca Savino. Kickers United's Cederik Huts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Kickers United from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Kickers United's Cederik Huts got control of the ball when Xabier 黄忠 tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Lucky Star defense, Jorge Reijnders kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Cresenciano. The Lucky Star fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Cresenciano should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Xabier 黄忠 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cederik Huts. Kickers United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xabier 黄忠 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dino Maquiano during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kickers United getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Dino Maquiano hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Kickers United were the better team. Kickers United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
