In the 16th minute Joaquim Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Alavedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Crispin Klander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciruel Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Crispin Klander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Dino Tavares notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ciruel Academy's Jacob Alavedra. Jacob Alavedra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Nova Venécia-ES getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Abelardo Valladares hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enéas Leite in the 44th minute of play forced Ciruel Academy's goalkeeper Jacob Alavedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isi Rider hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bartolomé Sabina was the one to do the kick off. Ciruel Academy's Jacob Alavedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Leite in the 51st minute of play. Robinho de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coronel Durango in the 53rd minute of the match. Ciruel Academy's Jacob Alavedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Leite in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Nova Venécia-ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Peres to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the game, Tomé de Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nova Venécia-ES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciruel Academy the free kick. In the 61st minute, Tomé de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Mircea Balint shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Joaquim Rezende kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacob Alavedra. That made the score 1-3 in the 68 minute of play. Coronel Durango received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Robinho de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Jacob Alavedra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Ciruel Academy's Jacob Alavedra got control of the ball when Dino Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Nova Venécia-ES's Enéas Leite slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacob Alavedra. That made the score 1-4 after 83 minutes of play. Ulryk Brzeszczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho de Salles having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Jacob Alavedra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Glenn Sommers hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Nova Venécia-ES played a much better game than Ciruel Academy and deserved their victory. The Ciruel Academy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
