Spectators: 7997 (Terracing: 5999, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 159) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gustavo Isazi got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Northern California's goalkeeper Domingos Savier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christoph Tiede. If Sergio Heriberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Savier was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Christoph Tiede capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christoph Tiede really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Northern California's Gustavo Isazi got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute Gustavo Isazi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Tolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in DJK Füchtel Vechta's zone, Gustavo Isazi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Tolin came out of the goal and Gustavo Isazi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernard McFrank's late challenge caught a DJK Füchtel Vechta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernard McFrank helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, David Llorian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes Northern California got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ereinotz. Domingos Savier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamal Gläsel in the 29th minute of play. Adriano Tolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Isazi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christoph Tiede got free with Domingos Savier in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner ended in Sergio Heriberto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DJK Füchtel Vechta's Adriano Tolin did a great save. Adriano Tolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With 50 minutes on the clock, Anselmo Katia commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of DJK Füchtel Vechta booed when Northern California was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Katia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Agu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 51st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Domingos Savier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamal Gläsel, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. DJK Füchtel Vechta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felix Agu in the 56th minute. Felix Agu made a great header on DJK Füchtel Vechta's corner, it was just that Northern California's Domingos Savier managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Northern California's Bernard McFrank got a free kick in the 59th minute. Adriano Tolin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Bernaldo in the 62nd minute. Joseph Lötters kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Sergio Heriberto might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adriano Tolin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergio Heriberto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th match minute, Northern California was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ereinotz to maneuver through the defense. Ante Kopitz's late challenge caught a Northern California's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ante Kopitz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Ante Kopitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sergio Heriberto came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Northern California fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Heriberto couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Adriano Tolin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Bernaldo in the 73rd minute of play forced DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Adriano Tolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Northern California's Sergio Heriberto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adriano Tolin. Adriano Tolin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 78 minutes of play, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Jamal Gläsel made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingos Savier was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Northern California defense, Peter Bührer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingos Savier. The Northern California fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingos Savier should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Heriberto got free with Adriano Tolin in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christoph Tiede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Savier having to interfere. DJK Füchtel Vechta's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
