Lucky Star's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dobromir Robev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 42 played minutes Lucky Star got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Ramos. Joel Cresenciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamal Gläsel, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Peter Bührer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Joel Cresenciano made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Joel Cresenciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Bührer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for DJK Füchtel Vechta. Felix Agu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joel Cresenciano. 4-0. In the 66th minute, Peter Bührer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jamal Gläsel in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Cresenciano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joel Cresenciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamal Gläsel in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lucky Star's zone, Christoph Tiede stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Cresenciano came out of the goal and Christoph Tiede tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Cresenciano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christoph Tiede's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute, Emílio Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucky Star's Joel Cresenciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Bührer in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamal Gläsel in the 91st minute of play forced Lucky Star's goalkeeper Joel Cresenciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DJK Füchtel Vechta's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
