To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goal looked a bit too open when Christoph Tiede came free, but Cederik Huts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano Tolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Savino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adriano Tolin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luca Savino in the 29th minute. With a little luck, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Adriano Tolin got control of the ball when Luca Savino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kickers United were furious when Blas Lertxun was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Felix Agu did an outstanding performance 39 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-1 to the right of an irritated Cederik Huts in the goal. The Kickers United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. DJK Füchtel Vechta were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iwan Banach was the one to do the kick off. Adriano Tolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Maquiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Kickers United's Cederik Huts got control of the ball when Christoph Tiede tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Christoph Tiede kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cederik Huts. That made the score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. Iwan Banach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adriano Tolin having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dobromir Robev got free with Cederik Huts in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of DJK Füchtel Vechta booed when Kickers United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Savino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriano Tolin came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Kickers United's Dionisio Gartzi. But to his dismay, Dionisio Gartzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The DJK Füchtel Vechta players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Kickers United from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
