In the 5th minute Crispin Klander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton Cordeiro in the 11th minute of play forced Ciruel Academy's goalkeeper Themistoklis Saveris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júlio Linares came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Ciruel Academy's Crispin Klander. But to his dismay, Crispin Klander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 15 played minutes Xiboquinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Cleiton Cordeiro. In the 16th minute Coronel Durango shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júlio Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coronel Durango in the 20th minute of play. Xiboquinha FC's Júlio Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Luis Torrente in the 23rd minute of play. Ciruel Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mircea Balint in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Crispin Klander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio Linares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 29 minutes, Kléberson Sanches mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xiboquinha FC and the Ciruel Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mircea Balint was slow to take the kick. During this time Ciruel Academy's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Coronel Durango got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Júlio Linares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Ciruel Academy booed when Xiboquinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coronel Durango in the 38th minute of play forced Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Júlio Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Xiboquinha FC defense, Crispin Klander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Linares. The Xiboquinha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Linares should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Xiboquinha FC booed when Ciruel Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Luis Torrente didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guto Tasso made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Xiboquinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Coronel Durango came free, but Júlio Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coronel Durango in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coronel Durango in the 57th minute of play forced Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Júlio Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Coronel Durango didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 61st minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Coronel Durango ran dejectedly back to his position. A collision led to Xiboquinha FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Gilson Madureira hit a great ball. In the 64th minute Coronel Durango shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júlio Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Crispin Klander in the 66th minute of the match. Júlio Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coronel Durango, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Kléberson Sanches was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When Jacob Preuss fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xiboquinha FC's protests and gave Jacob Preuss a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Jacob Preuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 played minutes, Ciruel Academy's Mircea Balint shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Júlio Linares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ciruel Academy reached it. Júlio Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coronel Durango, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Duda Veiga hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When Coronel Durango came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ciruel Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Coronel Durango couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Coronel Durango reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Júlio Linares. The goal made the score 0-5. 89 minutes into the game, Ciruel Academy's Coronel Durango nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. 93 minutes into the match, Xiboquinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Coronel Durango came free, but Júlio Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciruel Academy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
