The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Ique Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 2nd match minute when Ique Football Club's Aimar Aimar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 5 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s Ivan Vistruario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Francisco Leme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, LA LUZ F.C.'s Javier Enol got control of the ball when Ricardo Travassos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Arruda came free, but Javier Enol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Ivan Vistruario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Francisco Leme was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Mala Lech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Vistruario in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Francisco Leme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30thth minute of the game Ivan Vistruario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ique Football Club's João Francisco Leme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute, Ivan Vistruario made a precise shot to the right of João Francisco Leme. Ique Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ique Football Club! If Simon Hechter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Francisco Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Vistruario in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Ivan Vistruario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Vistruario struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. João Francisco Leme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA LUZ F.C.. Moisés Arrudas short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Javier Enol to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Ique Football Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LA LUZ F.C. were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moisés Arruda was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, LA LUZ F.C.'s Ivan Vistruario dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 62nd minute, Cornelio Guillen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s Ivan Vistruario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Francisco Leme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. LA LUZ F.C. were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Ique Football Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tata González took the corner. 74 minutes into the match, Ivan Vistruario notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Ique Football Club's João Francisco Leme. João Francisco Leme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. João Francisco Leme made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ivan Vistruario sent off a good shot on target. Roberto Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Ulysses Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. João Francisco Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mala Lech in the 91st minute of the match. When Cafu Varela fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ique Football Club's protests and gave Cafu Varela a yellow card for diving instead. Cafu Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. LA LUZ F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
