The audience was convinced that Wiktor Gomolka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Francisco Leme was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roman Drapinski firmly grabbed it by the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wiktor Gomolka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. João Francisco Leme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wiktor Gomolka went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. WiTeK TeAm's Waclaw Mlekodaj quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aílton Falcão, made in the 81st minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched WiTeK TeAm eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
