Ulysses Pinheiro hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Jonatan Aspvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match Ique Football Club got a corner. Glentown FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Samuca Leal ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Jonatan Aspvik took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for João Francisco Leme to make any attempt to save it. Ique Football Club's João Francisco Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Fransson in the 19th minute of play. After 21 minutes Ique Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henry Eriksson who took care of the corner kick. Aimar Aimar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olov Ahlquist having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aimar Aimar in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olov Ahlquist saved Glentown FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Fransson in the 24th minute of play forced Ique Football Club's goalkeeper João Francisco Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, André Törnkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Samuca Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Glentown FC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Ique Football Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Henry Eriksson took the corner. In the 36th minute, Cafu Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Francisco Leme was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonatan Aspvik showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Aspvik in the 45th minute of play forced Ique Football Club's goalkeeper João Francisco Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Francisco Leme came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Glentown FC's Jonatan Aspvik. But to his dismay, Jonatan Aspvik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonatan Aspvik to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aimar Aimar came free, but Olov Ahlquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Francisco Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Fransson in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Aimar Aimar made a precise shot to the right of Olov Ahlquist. Glentown FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 63 minutes into the match, Ique Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Fransson came free, but João Francisco Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Jonatan Aspvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Francisco Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Fransson in the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Ique Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Aspvik came free, but João Francisco Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ique Football Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Henry Eriksson was slow to take the kick. During this time Glentown FC's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 96 minutes, Jonatan Aspvik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glentown FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Aspvik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ique Football Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
