Korn's Sebastián Boselli quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Paul Cangeopol, made in the 24th minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Diaz came free, but Ingvar Hellkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Nicolás De la Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augusto Batalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Armando Maradona in the 33rd minute of the match. A. Korn's Sebastián Boselli managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paul Cangeopol in the 34 minute of the game. Augusto Batalla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Armando Maradona in the 38th minute of play. Ramon Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Hellkvist having to interfere. In the 48th minute C Ａ R D I N Ａ L were awarded a corner. Horea Vrejiu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Horea Vrejiu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Augusto Batalla quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

Diego Armando Maradona took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augusto Batalla. Augusto Batalla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 57th minute C Ａ R D I N Ａ L were awarded a corner. Horea Vrejiu went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Edmund Przybyciel heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Augusto Batalla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Rage in the 59th minute of play. Augusto Batalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Rage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramon Diaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Ingvar Hellkvist made a huge save. A. Korn's Augusto Batalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Armando Maradona in the 70th minute of play. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L made a substitution. Robert Ţugui replaced Emanuel Buciuman. Orlando Demario got a throw-in 74 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ramon Diaz. After having played for 79 minutes, Angelo Rage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Rage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Rage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Batalla having to interfere. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Diego Armando Maradona sped through A. Korn's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Augusto Batalla.
