The supporters of Winthont FC booed when C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Tăcutu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Huidu made in the 3rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tahsin Paksu however managed to control. Dennis Beerthuis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Armando Maradona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex de Rudder, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Cristian Norino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Winthont FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Vincente in the 11th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Winthont FC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Hoffmann. Emanuel Huidu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dennis Beerthuis. Winthont FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 20th minute Diego Armando Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Beerthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Winthont FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Horea Vrejiu was slow to take the kick. During this time C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Filip Tăcutu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dennis Beerthuis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Winthont FC's attentive Jan Tevreden managed to snatch the ball when Emanuel Huidu made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. With a little luck, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Ingvar Hellkvist got control of the ball when Alex de Rudder tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gert Jan van Westerop was slow to take the kick. During this time Winthont FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 36th minute Herminio Vincente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Beerthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Diego Armando Maradona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dennis Beerthuis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ingvar Hellkvist made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Alex de Rudder sent off a good shot on target. After the first half C Ａ R D I N Ａ L were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Armando Maradona was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes, Emanuel Buciuman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C Ａ R D I N Ａ L and the Winthont FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Winthont FC booed when C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Buciuman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingvar Hellkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Angelo Rage was substituted for Diego Armando Maradona.
