In the 36th minute Diego Armando Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marz Arratia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Atlético Municipal defense, Diego Armando Maradona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marz Arratia. The Atlético Municipal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marz Arratia should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Atlético Municipal's Che Feliciano got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Atlético Municipal's Marz Arratia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Armando Maradona in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Atlético Municipal booed when C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position.
