Preator Edikt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Reine Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gennadiy Trubkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Andrey Kolybin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Erik Sundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes of play, Arsenal F.C.'s Ziemowit Barciniak made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reine Pettersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reine Pettersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ziemowit Barciniak in the 31st minute. Konstantin Naumov hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Gareth Bale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reine Pettersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rdth minute of the game Ziemowit Barciniak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Preator Edikt's Reine Pettersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Arsenal F.C. fully deserved thier win.
