In the 3rd minute, Chaouki Ben Rau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucjan Walentowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabi Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabi Batistuta in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucjan Walentowicz saved Bajbusy Fabian-a from getting behind. 11 minutes into the game, La Candela FC's Gabi Batistuta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucjan Walentowicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Stiff Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Bajbusy Fabian-a's goal looked a bit too open when Gabi Batistuta came free, but Lucjan Walentowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chaouki Ben Rau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Silviano having to make a save. Lucjan Walentowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabi Batistuta in the 24th minute of play. Daniel Ferfecki charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Ferfecki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when Bajbusy Fabian-a was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Ferfecki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enzo Silviano made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Daniel Ferfecki sent off a good shot on target. Lucjan Walentowicz came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by La Candela FC's Ramón Ponce. But to his dismay, Ramón Ponce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, Gabi Batistuta notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Bajbusy Fabian-a's Lucjan Walentowicz. Lucjan Walentowicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bajbusy Fabian-a's Lucjan Walentowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabi Batistuta in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Bajbusy Fabian-a getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Iaki Albizua hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabi Batistuta to make the kick off. Lucjan Walentowicz made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Ramón Ponce sent off a good shot on target. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bajbusy Fabian-a's goalkeeper Lucjan Walentowicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chaouki Ben Rau came free, but Enzo Silviano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match, Gabi Batistuta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lucjan Walentowicz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chaouki Ben Rau in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enzo Silviano saved La Candela FC from getting behind. Chaouki Ben Rau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Enzo Silviano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chaouki Ben Rau, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when Bajbusy Fabian-a was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Zacharczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chaouki Ben Rau might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enzo Silviano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chaouki Ben Rau ran back to his position shaking his head. A sloppy throw-in by Alcides Silveira in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bajbusy Fabian-a's Fahmi Danurwindo. Teodosio Frans came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lucjan Walentowicz could save by the left post. Teodosio Frans took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucjan Walentowicz. Lucjan Walentowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Teodosio Frans's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lucjan Walentowicz firmly grabbed it by the left post. 85 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when La Candela FC's Teodosio Frans fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 1-5 became the score in the 87th minute when Gabi Batistuta elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, La Candela FC's Cai Bing Cheng got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After a rather tough play, Bajbusy Fabian-a's Daniel Ferfecki got a free kick in the 94th minute. The La Candela FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La Candela FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
