The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Adrian Zbora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buffalo Timişoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Adrian Zbora took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Best Junel. Best Junel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 14th match minute, Buffalo Timişoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Neicu to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FFC Merainies 03 getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Erik Caluwé hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FFC Merainies 03's Gert Korevaar got a free kick in the 18th minute. A hard shot 20 in the game by Adrian Zbora from a close distance when the talented Best Junel managed to make a qualified save. FFC Merainies 03's players were relieved. Best Junel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Zbora in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Gert Korevaar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buffalo Timişoara's Hunor Csapó was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in FFC Merainies 03 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! Buffalo Timişoara's Hunor Csapó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Springelkamp in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Springelkamp in the 39th minute of play forced Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Hunor Csapó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Adrian Zbora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Best Junel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Zbora in the 42nd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Adrian Zbora made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Ignacy Cerocki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Best Junel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Buffalo Timişoara's Marin Tufescu in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FFC Merainies 03's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Springelkamp in the 61st minute of play forced Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Hunor Csapó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Tufescu came free, but Best Junel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marin Tufescu in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Best Junel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Buffalo Timişoara's Ignacy Cerocki got a free kick in the 71st minute. Buffalo Timişoara's Ionică Buculeasa was substituted for Marin Tufescu. A collision led to Buffalo Timişoara getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ignacy Cerocki hit a great ball. Buffalo Timişoara's Hunor Csapó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Korevaar in the 74th minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, FFC Merainies 03's Gert Korevaar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hunor Csapó made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. FFC Merainies 03's Best Junel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionică Buculeasa in the 78th minute of play. Gert Korevaar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hunor Csapó read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Valentin Voicu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ionică Buculeasa scored 4-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Best Junel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionică Buculeasa in the 91st minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Best Junel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Valentin Voicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Best Junel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Buffalo Timişoara's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
