After 20 minutes of play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Genaro Cassidy made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dionisio Eufemio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Genaro Cassidy came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Racing Miami Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Cassidy couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute Shane Smiley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Eufemio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Shane Smiley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Miami Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shane Smiley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shane Smiley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Franco Di Giambattista made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Arsenio Bernebe sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Reyes F.C.'s Feliciano Raitin got a free kick in the 57th minute. Arsenio Bernebe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franco Di Giambattista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Franco Di Giambattista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prudencio Bartolome's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Franco Di Giambattista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Bernebe in the 66th minute of the match.
