The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to PIRATAS TFP getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ademir Moreno hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Hong Zheng dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elano Toledo, 1-0. PIRATAS TFP's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Hong Zheng scored to the left of an out of position Elano Toledo, making the score, 2-0. CD SHETTANI's attentive Nestor Villegas managed to snatch the ball when Natanael Rocha made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. Hong Zheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Elano Toledo made a huge save. Waldemar Maranhense's late challenge caught a CD SHETTANI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldemar Maranhense helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CD SHETTANI booed when PIRATAS TFP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hong Zheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hong Zheng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elano Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Hong Zheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Elano Toledo made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, CD SHETTANI's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Silveira came free, but Olger Azofeifa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elano Toledo came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by CD SHETTANI's Mainor Calderon. But to his dismay, Mainor Calderon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After a rather tough play, CD SHETTANI's Guter Noya got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 65 minutes of play, CD SHETTANI's Mainor Calderon made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elano Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mainor Calderon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Elano Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elano Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mainor Calderon in the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, PIRATAS TFP's Cássio Furtado got a free kick in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Garro in the 79th minute of play forced PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Elano Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Garro kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81stth minute of the game Cafu Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD SHETTANI's Olger Azofeifa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the game, one of CD SHETTANI:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Olger Azofeifa had in the 88thth minute some difficulties stopping Régis Urbano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Elano Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sindo Lores in the 90th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Ademir Moreno in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CD SHETTANI's Oséas Luz. CD SHETTANI's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
