Vítor Saraiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saturnino Johans went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 7 minutes into the match, Napoleón 2018's goalkeeper Edmílson Veloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guilherme Souza. In the 10th minute, Cesinha Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Saturnino Johans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vítor Saraiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saturnino Johans's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute, Guilherme Souza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edmílson Veloso. The goal made the score 1-1. Saturnino Johans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Vítor Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guilherme Souza in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmílson Veloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Napoleón 2018 booed when Imbituba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes, Cafu Aparecido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imbituba - FSCMZ and the Napoleón 2018 players grew even worse after the yellow card. 44 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Johans came free, but Vítor Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Lobo Guará made the kick off in the second half. Vítor Saraiva made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Saturnino Johans sent off a good shot on target. Edmílson Veloso came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Imbituba - FSCMZ's Guilherme Souza. But to his dismay, Guilherme Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Saturnino Johans scored 2-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vítor Saraiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Souza in the 62nd minute of play forced Napoleón 2018's goalkeeper Edmílson Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st match minute, Napoleón 2018 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofil Gonsiewski to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Isidro Llorian reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vítor Saraiva. The goal made the score 2-3. Edmílson Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Souza in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Franklin Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Júnior Mattos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Júnior Mattos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Imbituba - FSCMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Júnior Mattos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Napoleón 2018 made a substitution. Antonio Alzamendi replaced Bonifacio Santalla. In the 80th minute, one of Imbituba - FSCMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Imbituba - FSCMZ. The goalkeeper, Vítor Saraiva, was totally fooled by Napoleón 2018's Sílvio Luís Breckenfeld, who 83 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 89 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Llorian came free, but Vítor Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Llorian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidro Llorian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vítor Saraiva having to make a save.
