Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Salens in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bill Geerds prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bill Geerds showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aniol Sampil, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Beetje Moe Re-United's Erik Salens, in the 35th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Beetje Moe Re-United. When Evert Roelofs came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Osdorp FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evert Roelofs couldn't finish the play. The shot was stopped by Giel Lever but with some difficulty. 43 minutes into the match, Osdorp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Salens came free, but Bill Geerds reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bill Geerds made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Salens in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

But to his dismay, Aniol Sampil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 81st minute Aniol Sampil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Geerds saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Beetje Moe Re-United's Aniol Sampil dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Osdorp FC's zone, Theo Assendelft stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bill Geerds came out of the goal and Theo Assendelft tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 minutes of play, Beetje Moe Re-United's Kurt Boer made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bill Geerds was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the match, Osdorp FC's goalkeeper Bill Geerds had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daan Poels. 92 minutes into the match, Osdorp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Salens came free, but Bill Geerds reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Osdorp FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Beetje Moe Re-United's performance. The match ended with a win for Beetje Moe Re-United.
