Alonso Suloaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Cangeopol in the 34th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wesley Sneijder got free with Alonso Suloaga in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alonso Suloaga was a little too slow when Mădălin Cangeopol got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Panait Hațegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fatih Özbay in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Tractorul Satulung -MM-. Adrian Mutu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alonso Suloaga. 4-1. In the 58th minute Adrian Mutu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonso Suloaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 蚂蚁在路上's Fatih Özbay got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Teodoro Gotzon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alonso Suloaga in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fatih Özbay in the 69th minute of play forced Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Panait Hațegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
