A well-hit corner resulted in Dick Simonsson heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Tage Karlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute Tage Karlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Rius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of West Town SC booed when Robíño Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Åkesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jack Kvick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Costa in the 22nd minute of play. Jack Kvick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Blue, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Alvin Åkesson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelo Rius came out and tried to block the shot, but Alvin Åkesson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, Robíño Football Club's Sven-Ove Jönsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcelo Rius. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Costa in the 45th minute of play forced Robíño Football Club's goalkeeper Jack Kvick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of West Town SC booed when Robíño Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Åke Fernkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Jeremias Pallar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jack Kvick skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvin Åkesson to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Alvin Åkesson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Robíño Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvin Åkesson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Rius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of West Town SC booed when Robíño Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Pilgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Robíño Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jack Kvick should have stopped the shot. Marcelo Rius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvin Åkesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Jack Kvick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Blue in the 80th minute of play. Jack Kvick was a little too slow when Laureano Gimenez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 3-3. A collision led to West Town SC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jeremias Pallar hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, West Town SC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Åkesson came free, but Marcelo Rius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Robíño Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Pilgren. Jack Kvick was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Laureano Gimenez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Laureano Gimenez really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4.
