The audience was convinced that Jonatán Cabello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Verner Hynek was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Verner Hynek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loreno Acharan in the 17th minute of the match. When Michal Jung fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lex Academy's protests and gave Michal Jung a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Navalito booed when Lex Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Jung didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Lex Academy's Xie Chao Yang got a free kick in the 27th minute. Verner Hynek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loreno Acharan in the 30th minute of play. Jonatán Cabello might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Verner Hynek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonatán Cabello ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Lex Academy defense, Loreno Acharan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Verner Hynek. The Lex Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Verner Hynek should have stopped the shot. When Josef Bernatík fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lex Academy's protests and gave Josef Bernatík a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Lex Academy got a freekick which was hit by Josef Bernatík. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Eustaquio Pudes made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonatán Cabello in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Verner Hynek saved Lex Academy from getting behind. When Navalito's Loreno Acharan in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lex Academy's goalie prevented a goal. Navalito's Juan Ignacio Grove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Pudes in the 56th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Eustaquio Pudes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Ignacio Grove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 played minutes Navalito got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Manuel Rivadeneira. Paulo José Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verner Hynek having to interfere. The Navalito fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Navalito's Jonatán Cabello looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A sloppy throw-in by Pedro Manuel Rivadeneira in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lex Academy's Josef Bernatík. Juan Ignacio Grove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Pudes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Lex Academy supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Navalito's performance. The match ended with a win for Navalito.
