Benedicto Lauro helped the player get up and apologised. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tabossi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Esteban Txerran was slow to take the kick. During this time Sacronas Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. Jorge Iribarren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Isusko in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Ernesto Nalo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tabossi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sacronas Futbol Club the free kick. After 19 played minutes Tabossi got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Nalo. Jorge Iribarren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeo Eneas went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With his leg Jorge Iribarren managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Tabossi's Ramiro Isusko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The throw-in from Enrique Ostargi in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tabossi's Angelino Pudes. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Ferreyra in the 30th minute of play. In the 36th minute Emílio Commisso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sacronas Futbol Club getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ramiro Perez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Eneas in the 46th minute of play forced Sacronas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jorge Iribarren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Sacronas Futbol Club's Oscar Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nery Pumpido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernabe Ferreyra in the 55th minute. Eustaquio Tabor had several of the Tabossi's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Nery Pumpido as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Sacronas Futbol Club's Jorge Higuaín got a free kick in the 67th minute. Tabossi made a substitution. Armando Bondi replaced Ramiro Isusko. Tabossi's Fausto Ganix was substituted for Fabio Ferman. After 69 played minutes Sacronas Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Higuaín. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Tabor, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Jorge Iribarren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Bondi in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Bernabe Ferreyra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nery Pumpido. Bernabe Ferreyra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. 77 minutes into the match, Sacronas Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Bondi came free, but Jorge Iribarren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
