Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Apăvăloaie in the 3rd minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Tabossi's goal looked a bit too open when Nabucodonosor von der Schulenburg came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Doicaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Tabossi's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Apăvăloaie came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, FC MeHigh's Nabucodonosor von der Schulenburg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Horea Apăvăloaie made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Tabossi's Nery Pumpido got control of the ball when Horea Apăvăloaie tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horea Apăvăloaie got free with Nery Pumpido in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Horea Apăvăloaie took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nery Pumpido. Nery Pumpido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Tabossi fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC MeHigh were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
