Carlos Alberto Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Paulo Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Vanghele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexei Caraman in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Paulo Penha saved Ogro F.C. from getting behind. Carlos Alberto Salgado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Deen Castronovo went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in UFC Puturoasa's zone, Deen Castronovo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Alberto Salgado came out of the goal and Deen Castronovo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deen Castronovo in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Alberto Salgado saved UFC Puturoasa from getting behind. UFC Puturoasa's Carlos Alberto Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deen Castronovo in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Ogro F.C. booed when UFC Puturoasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Spãtaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. When UFC Puturoasa's Emil Scobioalã in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Mike Terrana replaced Ramon Montagner. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emil Scobioalã was the one to do the kick off. Aaron Spears hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Alexei Caraman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Paulo Penha skillfully saved the ball. Pedro Paulo Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Vanghele, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After taking down the ball on Ogro F.C.'s corner Aaron Spears fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlos Alberto Salgado quite easily take care of the ball. Sergiu Ramos's late challenge caught a Ogro F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergiu Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, UFC Puturoasa's Sergiu Ramos got a free kick in the 90th minute. Pedro Paulo Penha acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alexei Caraman. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ogro F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while UFC Puturoasa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
