In the 11th minute, Joseph Holmberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Alberto Salgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a little luck, UFC Puturoasa's Carlos Alberto Salgado got control of the ball when Joseph Holmberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Alberto Salgado made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Joseph Holmberg sent off a good shot on target. Joseph Holmberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Alberto Salgado came out and tried to block the shot, but Joseph Holmberg slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Samba Fotboll U21's Joseph Holmberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Alberto Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, UFC Puturoasa's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joseph Holmberg. Carlos Alberto Salgado didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Thanks to some nice moves Joseph Holmberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Carlos Alberto Salgado however easily saved by the left post. When Samba Fotboll U21's Zygmunt Koprowski in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Samba Fotboll U21's John Häger got a free kick in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Samba Fotboll U21's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Scobioalã came free, but Ronnie Meck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Alberto Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zygmunt Koprowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the UFC Puturoasa defense, Joseph Holmberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Alberto Salgado. The UFC Puturoasa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Alberto Salgado should have stopped the shot. A collision led to UFC Puturoasa getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alexei Caraman hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Emil Scobioalã made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Holmberg in the 50th minute of play forced UFC Puturoasa's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Kevin Norström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but UFC Puturoasa's Carlos Alberto Salgado did a great save. Carlos Alberto Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Holmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Carlos Alberto Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Holmberg in the 61st minute of the match. Carlos Alberto Salgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zygmunt Koprowski's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Ronaldo in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronnie Meck saved Samba Fotboll U21 from getting behind. 69 minutes in the game, Emil Scobioalã fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ronnie Meck having to interfere. When Samba Fotboll U21's Joseph Holmberg in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ronnie Meck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by UFC Puturoasa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kevin Norström was slow to take the kick. During this time Samba Fotboll U21's players had a chance to rest. Kevin Norström made a great header on Samba Fotboll U21's corner, it was just that UFC Puturoasa's Carlos Alberto Salgado managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 89th minute Zygmunt Koprowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Alberto Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samba Fotboll U21's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
