The referee ignored SK Gullegem's protests and gave Will Jamieson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SK Gullegem getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Will Jamieson hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Inocencio Pinto notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SK Gullegem's Marco Jamieson. Marco Jamieson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 9 minutes into the game, Atanas Cholakov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Marco Jamieson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Social y Dep. Patagonia's Tobias Faro got control of the ball when Jacky Jamieson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Ioan Şerban left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Social y Dep. Patagonia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Inocencio Pinto took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Jamieson. Marco Jamieson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 27th match minute, SK Gullegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Torfs to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Jose Garikoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Social y Dep. Patagonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Garikoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Jamieson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ioan Şerban took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Jamieson. Marco Jamieson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 38 minutes into the game, Theo Jamieson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Gullegem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Social y Dep. Patagonia the free kick. After 38 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Theo Jamieson. In the 42nd minute Sergio Raymundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Jamieson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Social y Dep. Patagonia were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Remco de Nooter made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Social y Dep. Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Şerban. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ioan Şerban in the 52nd minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Marco Jamieson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Volders in the 53rd minute of play. Marco Jamieson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ioan Şerban in the 54th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Ioan Şerban took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Marco Jamieson to make any attempt to save it. Marco Jamieson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Pinto in the 63rd minute. 63 minutes into the game, Anton Volders was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Gullegem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Social y Dep. Patagonia the free kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Social y Dep. Patagonia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
