Spectators: 7967 (Terracing: 5977, Seating: 1832, VIP seats: 158) Remco de Nooter started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, SK Gullegem's Mathis Van Eede got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Jacky Jamieson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boruc Domarecki during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jacky Jamieson in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Halil Utku Evvah, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 16th minute, Anton Volders fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 19th match minute, SK Gullegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Verhaeghen to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 21 minutes, Nechifor Beșliu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eintracht Cernavoda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nechifor Beșliu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nechifor Beșliu might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Jamieson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nechifor Beșliu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute, Nechifor Beșliu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Jamieson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eintracht Cernavoda were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after SK Gullegem's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Narcis Bunescu took the corner. Halil Utku Evvah made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Remco de Nooter sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the SK Gullegem defense, Doru Baicu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Jamieson. The SK Gullegem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Jamieson should have stopped the shot. Marco Jamieson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nechifor Beșliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Eintracht Cernavoda made a substitution. Gigel Gologan replaced Cornel Zbuchea. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gigel Gologan made a kick off. After 54 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Michael Verhaeghen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narcis Bunescu got free with Marco Jamieson in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SK Gullegem's Marco Jamieson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save SK Gullegem from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Doru Baicu made a precise shot to the right of Marco Jamieson. SK Gullegem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Marco Jamieson was a little too slow when Constantin Bâlea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-4. Eintracht Cernavoda's Toader Bogrea was substituted for Nechifor Beșliu. Marco Jamieson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gigel Gologan went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Marco Jamieson was a little too slow when Doru Baicu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-6. 76 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's Narcis Bunescu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 78 minutes into the match, SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Marco Jamieson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doru Baicu. Halil Utku Evvah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Volders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Toader Bogrea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marco Jamieson. The goal made the score 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Bâlea in the 85th minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Marco Jamieson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remco de Nooter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toader Bogrea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marco Jamieson came out and tried to block the shot, but Toader Bogrea slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 90th minute. Mihai Nițescu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Eintracht Cernavoda eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
