Remco de Nooter started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ogro F.C.'s Joel Arantes got a free kick in the 6th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gualter Arce during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ogro F.C. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gualter Arce hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, SK Gullegem's Remco de Nooter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Paulo Penha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Paulo Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacky Jamieson's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Pedro Paulo Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacky Jamieson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Jamieson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingo Schwichtenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 41st minute Ogro F.C. were awarded a corner. Aaron Spears went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Deen Castronovo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Ramon Montagner fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ogro F.C.'s protests and gave Ramon Montagner a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Ramon Montagner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Mike Terrana replaced Ramon Montagner. A collision led to Ogro F.C. getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Ramon Montagner hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Deen Castronovo scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Jamieson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandre Aposan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Jamieson having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Deen Castronovo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Jamieson. SK Gullegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deen Castronovo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Artur de Castro's late challenge caught a SK Gullegem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur de Castro helped the player get up and apologised. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Mike Terrana sped through SK Gullegem's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marco Jamieson. SK Gullegem's Marco Jamieson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Duplantier in the 80th minute of play. Marco Jamieson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Duplantier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Elias Torfs. 86 minutes into the game, Mike Terrana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Marco Jamieson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Duplantier in the 89th minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Marco Jamieson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ogro F.C. booed when SK Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Volders didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, SK Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Aposan came free, but Marco Jamieson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Ogro F.C.'s Mike Terrana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Jamieson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Marco Jamieson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Duplantier in the 99th minute of play.
