Seating: 1830, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcel Pătrășconiu started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Zygmunt Koprowski made a precise shot to the right of Vitko Vutev. MIT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Samba Fotboll U21's Wictor Gustavsson got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 9 minutes of play, Samba Fotboll U21's Joseph Holmberg made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitko Vutev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ronnie Meck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leontin Iacobescu in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Joseph Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitko Vutev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match Samba Fotboll U21 got a corner. MIT's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Norström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marcel Pătrășconiu's late challenge caught a Samba Fotboll U21's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Pătrășconiu helped the player get up and apologised. Kevin Norström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Zygmunt Koprowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vitko Vutev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Holmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Lucian Mangra made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Samba Fotboll U21's Wictor Gustavsson. Vitko Vutev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wictor Gustavsson in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Sillén came free, but Vitko Vutev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joseph Holmberg scored 0-4 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitko Vutev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronnie Meck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leontin Iacobescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Viktor Sillén ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitko Vutev was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After a rather tough play, MIT's Marcel Pătrășconiu got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zygmunt Koprowski to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, one of MIT:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, MIT's Sabin Eniceicu got a free kick in the 54th minute. Samba Fotboll U21's Joseph Holmberg got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Joseph Holmberg came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Samba Fotboll U21 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Holmberg couldn't finish the play. Joseph Holmberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitko Vutev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joseph Holmberg ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute, Flavius Câmpeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MIT's Vitko Vutev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Holmberg in the 66th minute of play. Samba Fotboll U21's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kevin Norström in the 67th minute. Samba Fotboll U21's Kevin Norström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vitko Vutev in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 69th minute Leontin Iacobescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Meck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronnie Meck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Iacobescu in the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of Samba Fotboll U21 booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Eniceicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th play minute Joseph Holmberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vitko Vutev. 0-6. When 柯霖弘 fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samba Fotboll U21's protests and gave 柯霖弘 a yellow card for diving instead. Ronnie Meck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leontin Iacobescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wictor Gustavsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MIT's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Joseph Holmberg scored to the left of an out of position Vitko Vutev, making the score, 0-7. Joseph Holmberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vitko Vutev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Sillén in the 98th minute of play forced MIT's goalkeeper Vitko Vutev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The MIT fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Samba Fotboll U21 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
