Spectators: 7887 (Terracing: 5915, Seating: 1815, VIP seats: 157) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bengt-Rune Strömbom kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, PATADAS S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Öfverman came free, but Nestor Ofelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by PATADAS S.A's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thiago van Dijk was slow to take the kick. During this time Brothers of Mercy's players had a chance to rest. In the 12th minute Ulf Öfverman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Ofelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PATADAS S.A's Nestor Ofelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Rune Strömbom in the 15th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's Ulf Öfverman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Ofelio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Mats Elg fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brothers of Mercy's protests and gave Mats Elg a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Brothers of Mercy's Mats Elg got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute of the match Amado Urre shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Pires showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Ulf Öfverman came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Brothers of Mercy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulf Öfverman couldn't finish the play. Nestor Ofelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Öfverman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amado Urre made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Edelmiro Silban however managed to control. Nestor Ofelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Öfverman in the 34th minute of play. Brothers of Mercy's Bengt-Rune Strömbom got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute of the game Amado Urre made a throw-in which Edelmiro Silban played forward. After having played for 40 minutes, Bengt-Rune Strömbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brothers of Mercy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Rune Strömbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bengt-Rune Strömbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ladislao Daunte to make the kick off. Ulf Öfverman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Nestor Ofelio made a huge save. Nestor Ofelio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Rune Strömbom's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Brothers of Mercy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thiago van Dijk in the 58th minute. Ulf Öfverman scored 0-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Ofelio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edelmiro Silban charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edelmiro Silban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edelmiro Silban kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. PATADAS S.A's Marcelino Bixintxo was substituted for Amado Urre. Brothers of Mercy's Alexandre Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Silban in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute PATADAS S.A were awarded a corner. Israel Goiz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to PATADAS S.A's Cosme Romo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Brothers of Mercy's Alexandre Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Silban in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Ulf Öfverman made a precise shot to the right of Nestor Ofelio. PATADAS S.A's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Nestor Ofelio made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Bengt-Rune Strömbom sent off a good shot on target. Bengt-Rune Strömbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Nestor Ofelio made a huge save. In the 96th minute, Bengt-Rune Strömbom reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nestor Ofelio. The goal made the score 0-6. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Brothers of Mercy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
