Spectators: 8006 (Terracing: 6006, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Mónico Geller started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Antaios Tsangaris kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Mónico Geller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexandre Pires having to make a save. Alexandre Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mónico Geller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt-Rune Strömbom's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Oscar Passet skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Oscar Passet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Elg in the 16th minute of play. Ulf Öfverman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Passet having to interfere. Mónico Geller might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Pires. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mónico Geller ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute Mónico Geller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Mónico Geller in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Oscar Passet made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Bengt-Rune Strömbom sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Öfverman came free, but Oscar Passet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Mónico Geller in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brothers of Mercy's goalie prevented a goal. In the 30thth minute of the game Mónico Geller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brothers of Mercy's Alexandre Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Brothers of Mercy getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Antaios Tsangaris hit a great ball. Alexandre Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mónico Geller in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Mónico Geller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandre Pires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Brothers of Mercy's Ulf Öfverman in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalie prevented a goal. Oscar Passet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Öfverman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bengt-Rune Strömbom to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Brothers of Mercy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antaios Tsangaris to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Brothers of Mercy getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Gustaf Berggren hit a great ball. Alexandre Pires came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Leo Acuña. But to his dismay, Leo Acuña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Amancio Odilon was substituted for Emanuel Palos. San Lorenzo de Sarandi made a substitution. Natalio Ferman replaced Mónico Geller. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Öfverman in the 75th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Oscar Passet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaf Berggren might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Passet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaf Berggren ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute, Emanuel Maria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Edgardo Birjaio got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 91st minute Feliciano Orlandus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Alexandre Pires successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alexandre Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Acuña in the 94th minute of the match. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
