In the 21st minute of the match, Wlodzimierz Lubanski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Igor Kelemen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Queens of Lublin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ponce Cruzado ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ponce Cruzado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Queens of Lublin's Zula Nieuzyla did a great save. In the 45th match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionuț Contra to maneuver through the defense. Tauro Doro's late challenge caught a Queens of Lublin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tauro Doro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th minute, Tauro Doro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 50 minutes in the game Zachariasz Mindykowski got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igor Kelemen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Igor Kelemen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Ewertowski in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Ewertowski came free, but Igor Kelemen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Queens of Lublin's supporters rose to their feet, but Cyprian Ewertowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Kelemen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the game, Ponce Cruzado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Queens of Lublin the free kick.
