A collision led to Queens of Lublin getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Henric Kasperczak hit a great ball. Victoriano Oinaz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Miguel do Vale firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tadeusz Luty took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zula Nieuzyla. Zula Nieuzyla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 28 minutes, Wladyslaw Gall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thunderstorm Riders and the Queens of Lublin players grew even worse after the yellow card. 28 minutes into the game, one of Thunderstorm Riders:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Korneliusz Nakoneczny during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute Borys Dulka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zula Nieuzyla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Oinaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Miguel do Vale made a huge save. Miroslaw Car was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Queens of Lublin's goalkeeper Zula Nieuzyla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeusz Luty during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Queens of Lublin booed when Thunderstorm Riders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeusz Luty didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Thunderstorm Riders were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wlodzimierz Lubanski to strike the kick off in the second half. After taking down the ball on Queens of Lublin's corner Henric Kasperczak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Miguel do Vale quite easily take care of the ball. In the 57th minute, Ale Dzik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszko Budacz in the 58th minute of play forced Queens of Lublin's goalkeeper Zula Nieuzyla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zula Nieuzyla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonard Pochorylo in the 60th minute. Leonard Pochorylo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Zula Nieuzyla made a huge save. Zula Nieuzyla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszko Budacz, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Queens of Lublin's Zula Nieuzyla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Pochorylo in the 80th minute of play. Miguel do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Lubanski in the 81st minute of play. Korneliusz Nakoneczny hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Thunderstorm Riders made a substitution. Marek Tyskie replaced Zbyszko Budacz. After a rather tough play, Queens of Lublin's Korneliusz Nakoneczny got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute Wlodzimierz Lubanski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyprian Ewertowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Miguel do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Thunderstorm Riders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Pochorylo to maneuver through the defense. The Thunderstorm Riders players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
