The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Pochorylo got free with Tadeo Distiratsu in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Paolo Fernendo fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jarana FC's protests and gave Paolo Fernendo a yellow card for diving instead. Wlodzimierz Pilarczyk lost his temper 6 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 10th minute Wilfredo Gitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Jarana FC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Jarana FC's Wilfredo Gitano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Miguel do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Gitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Aurelio Harriet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel do Vale. Thunderstorm Riders's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelio Harriet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Harriet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel do Vale was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 26th minute of the match Jarana FC got a corner. Thunderstorm Riders's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wilfredo Gitano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wilfredo Gitano made a great header on Jarana FC's corner, it was just that Thunderstorm Riders's Miguel do Vale managed to reach the ball for a save. Anacleto Tono hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Tadeo Distiratsu made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Borys Dulka sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Jarana FC booed when Thunderstorm Riders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszko Budacz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Wilfredo Gitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilfredo Gitano scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel do Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Wilfredo Gitano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jarana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Gitano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonard Pochorylo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Thunderstorm Riders getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Leonard Pochorylo hit a great ball. Miguel do Vale was a little too slow when Wilfredo Gitano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-4. 57 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Dulka came free, but Tadeo Distiratsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krzysztof Ratajczyk got a throw-in 59 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Wladyslaw Gall. After 61 played minutes Thunderstorm Riders got a freekick which was hit by Michal Dynda. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Dulka in the 63rd minute of play forced Jarana FC's goalkeeper Tadeo Distiratsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute of the game Krzysztof Ratajczyk made a throw-in which Wladyslaw Gall played forward. 72 minutes into the match, Luan Toro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel do Vale. Thunderstorm Riders's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luan Toro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Jarana FC's Tadeo Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Luty in the 75th minute of play. Leonard Pochorylo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 80th match minute, Jarana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Kaxen to maneuver through the defense. If Luan Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarana FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
