Spectators: 8047 (Terracing: 6036, Seating: 1851, VIP seats: 160) An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Skarkman in the 3rd minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Delfim Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 3rd minute, Tony Skarkman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delfim Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Luis-Miguel Camara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Catarinense in the 8th minute of the match. Luis-Miguel Camara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Catarinense in the 10th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Cefero got free with Luis-Miguel Camara in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by Harry Blom in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Galo do Japi's Roberto Neiva. 22 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Skarkman came free, but Delfim Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Strömsbro IF's Örjan Frisk in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Delfim Chaves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tony Skarkman went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Örjan Frisk to make the kick off. Luis-Miguel Camara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Catarinense in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo Rossi to maneuver through the defense. Galo do Japi's Delfim Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Örjan Frisk in the 61st minute of play. Roberto Neiva made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dagoberto Tande immediately put the ball in play. Strömsbro IF's Harry Blom quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roberto Neiva, made in the 65th minute of the game. Luis-Miguel Camara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Cefero, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Delfim Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Luis-Miguel Camara came out of the goal and Ronaldo Joinvilense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roberto Neiva hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Joinvilense came free, but Luis-Miguel Camara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Ronaldo Joinvilense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galo do Japi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Joinvilense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis-Miguel Camara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delfim Chaves made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Tony Skarkman sent off a good shot on target.
