When Villafuerte Aramoyana came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Porteño Prowess FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Villafuerte Aramoyana couldn't finish the play. Delfim Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Villafuerte Aramoyana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Porteño Prowess FC's Xzaiver Lorenzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Cefero in the 30th minute of play. Galo do Japi's Delfim Chaves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Galo do Japi from getting a goal against them. Porteño Prowess FC's Nunez Bidun shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 47th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Delfim Chaves but with some difficulty.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Catarinense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Xzaiver Lorenzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Villafuerte Aramoyana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Porteño Prowess FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Catarinense came free, but Xzaiver Lorenzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Cefero notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Porteño Prowess FC's Xzaiver Lorenzo. Xzaiver Lorenzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 minutes Galo do Japi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sergio Munis who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Rogelio Portero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Galo do Japi's Delfim Chaves did a great save. Porteño Prowess FC's attentive Oso Rollan managed to snatch the ball when Roberto Neiva made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. In the 78th match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelinho Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Munis struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Delfim Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porteño Prowess FC. A collision led to Galo do Japi getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Roberto Neiva hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Villafuerte Aramoyana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delfim Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villafuerte Aramoyana, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When Villafuerte Aramoyana fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porteño Prowess FC's protests and gave Villafuerte Aramoyana a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Porteño Prowess FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Villafuerte Aramoyana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xzaiver Lorenzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Porteño Prowess FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Galo do Japi's performance. The match ended with a win for Galo do Japi.
