The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The corner led Greenbay's Deon Bye to fire away a dangerous shot which Chi Tzalov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goal looked a bit too open when Xiao Chao Yan came free, but Edward Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mesut Özil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Chi Tzalov made a huge save. Edward Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xiao Chao Yan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tyler Morton got free with Chi Tzalov in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edward Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xiao Chao Yan in the 34th minute of play. Edward Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yang Wei in the 35th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goal looked a bit too open when Yang Wei came free, but Edward Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chi Tzalov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ashley Ross in the 43rd minute. A collision led to FC BaLiSt getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Niculae Târcă hit a great ball. Ashley Ross's late challenge caught a FC BaLiSt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ashley Ross helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Greenbay's Ashley Ross got a free kick in the 45th minute. Nial Messenger kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ashley Ross made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, FC BaLiSt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionel Manafu to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ashley Ross in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chi Tzalov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 51 minutes, Ashley Ross made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC BaLiSt's Chi Tzalov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 55 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goalkeeper Edward Engström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Zotincă. Yang Wei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Edward Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, FC BaLiSt's goal looked a bit too open when Freddie Waterhouse came free, but Chi Tzalov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Greenbay booed when FC BaLiSt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorin Stroici didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Bryant during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After taking down the ball on FC BaLiSt's corner Ionel Manafu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edward Engström quite easily take care of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC BaLiSt players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Greenbay.
