Spectators: 7980 (Terracing: 5986, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilfredo Segio kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Club Almirante Brown booed when Barrio Norte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rúben Sacadura didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Vladimiro Remigio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernán Albonico skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Elias in the 9th minute of play forced Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Isidoro Dolfos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes Barrio Norte FC got a freekick which was hit by Telo Metou. Fernán Albonico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedicto Chale in the 14th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Benedicto Chale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrio Norte FC's Fernán Albonico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernán Albonico made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Benedicto Chale sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the game, Prospero Abad recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernán Albonico. Prospero Abad showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Barrio Norte FC's Yerko Papič in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Almirante Brown's goalie prevented a goal. Fernán Albonico made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Benedicto Chale sent off a good shot on target. Benedicto Chale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Fernán Albonico made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Club Almirante Brown's Prospero Abad got a free kick in the 38th minute. Yerko Papič recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, Club Almirante Brown's Benedicto Chale ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernán Albonico. Fernán Albonico yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Don Elias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilfredo Segio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernán Albonico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. Isidoro Dolfos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yerko Papič in the 52nd minute of play. Fernán Albonico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Abad in the 56th minute of the match. Club Almirante Brown's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Don Elias scored to the left of an out of position Isidoro Dolfos, making the score, 2-1. Fernán Albonico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Segio's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After 66 minutes, Telo Metou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrio Norte FC and the Club Almirante Brown players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barrio Norte FC's Telo Metou got a free kick in the 66th minute. Barrio Norte FC's Jean Paul Cruz was substituted for Cristiano Sabater. Club Almirante Brown made a substitution. Aristides Rayman replaced Wilfredo Segio. A collision led to Barrio Norte FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Benito Slight hit a great ball. Barrio Norte FC's Fernán Albonico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Chale in the 72nd minute of play. Fernán Albonico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Rayman in the 74th minute of the match. Isidoro Dolfos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honesto Palou in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Elias in the 91st minute of play forced Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Isidoro Dolfos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honesto Palou received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isidoro Dolfos came out and tried to block the shot, but Honesto Palou slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 95th minute. Barrio Norte FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
