The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Alex Ioneasa. Angel Quintan missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 8 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Nikola Portner right hand side. In the 10th minute Salomone Weber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henri Schwersenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Gilesindo having to interfere. Hassan Widmer hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Espen Steelers's Andy Schmid slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adrian Gilesindo. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. Adrian Gilesindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salomone Weber in the 20th minute of play. Adrian Gilesindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Schmid in the 22nd minute of the match. Adrian Gilesindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Schär, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Anjullan AFC's Herminio Paublo got a free kick in the 25th minute. The supporters of Espen Steelers booed when Anjullan AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ādolfs 王义勇 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Schär. Nikola Portner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Etxahun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Espen Steelers's Alex Ioneasa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alex Ioneasa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Espen Steelers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alex Ioneasa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 44 minutes into the game, one of Espen Steelers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Etxahun to make the kick off. Anjullan AFC's attentive Teobaldo Urtun managed to snatch the ball when Hassan Widmer made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. 56 minutes into the game, Espen Steelers's Fabian Schär nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Gilesindo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 63rd minute Andy Schmid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobaldo Urtun helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Amancio Benat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 94 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Albert Einstein. Espen Steelers's Nikola Portner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Etxahun in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Espen Steelers players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
