The supporters of Atlético da Colina booed when Ferreira Lopes MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chico Bastos in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomé Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Atlético da Colina's Carlos Germano got control of the ball when Ronaldo Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Chico Bastos sped through Ferreira Lopes MZC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomé Montenegro. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Paraíba during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chico Bastos in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomé Montenegro saved Ferreira Lopes MZC from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dário Martins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Alcântara in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Ferreira Lopes MZC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Fabrício Hoffmann hit a great ball. Atlético da Colina's attack was well implemented in the 56th minute, but when Chico Bastos was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Ronaldo Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Germano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Chico Bastos spun around in front of the goal 68 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Ferreira Lopes MZC's goal. After 70 minutes of play, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Ronaldo Alcântara made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Germano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 79 played minutes Ferreira Lopes MZC got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Lucas. 83 minutes into the match, Vinícius Conceicão sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Tomé Montenegro threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Vinícius Conceicão this time. Tomé Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Atlético da Colina getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Edmundo Trancoso hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's Chico Bastos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomé Montenegro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomé Montenegro stood somewhat misplaced when Chico Bastos came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 96 minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Atlético da Colina eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
