If Inko Estibalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MILAN COLOMBIANO's Ruben Malvin got his second yellow card of the match in the 21st minute. The referee ordered Ruben Malvin off the ground. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bidun Cases in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Farid Mondragón prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind MILAN COLOMBIANO's goalkeeper Farid Mondragón, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MILAN COLOMBIANO's Abel Mirande was substituted for Ben Chepchumba. MILAN COLOMBIANO made a substitution. Ariel Tiadoro replaced Armando Chago. Sociedad Anónima were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after MILAN COLOMBIANO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felix Larren took the corner. In the 78th minute Bidun Cases shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Mondragón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Florentino Hechter fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MILAN COLOMBIANO's protests and gave Florentino Hechter a yellow card for diving instead. MILAN COLOMBIANO's Farid Mondragón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Larren in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bidun Cases in the 87th minute of play forced MILAN COLOMBIANO's goalkeeper Farid Mondragón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Tiadoro charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ariel Tiadoro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Tiadoro got free with Txurio Herrero in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
