Spectators: 8546 (Terracing: 6411, Seating: 1965, VIP seats: 170) Kartal Başar made the kick off and thus started the match. When Faustino Cordaryal came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Twierdza Osowiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Cordaryal couldn't finish the play. Ulryk Jarosiewicz came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Twierdza Osowiec's Jorg Saelens. But to his dismay, Jorg Saelens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ulryk Jarosiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kartal Başar in the 15th minute of play. If Raşit Timuroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Özdemir Kutluay took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Waut Vanden Berghe to make any attempt to save it. The throw-in from Anıl Kuray in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Twierdza Osowiec's Zeno Hendrickx. After a defensive mix-up in Trabzonspor's zone, Kartal Başar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulryk Jarosiewicz came out of the goal and Kartal Başar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute Raşit Timuroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Vanden Berghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waut Vanden Berghe came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Trabzonspor's Raşit Timuroz. But to his dismay, Raşit Timuroz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raşit Timuroz got free with Waut Vanden Berghe in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raşit Timuroz to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Twierdza Osowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorg Saelens to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Trabzonspor booed when Twierdza Osowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Hendrickx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorg Saelens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ulryk Jarosiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Raşit Timuroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Vanden Berghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Özdemir Kutluay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waut Vanden Berghe. Twierdza Osowiec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Özdemir Kutluay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Trabzonspor's Zühtü Tamer was substituted for Raşit Timuroz. 76 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's goal looked a bit too open when Kartal Başar came free, but Ulryk Jarosiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Twierdza Osowiec were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Trabzonspor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yong 典韦 took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Yong 典韦 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ulryk Jarosiewicz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Waut Vanden Berghe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zühtü Tamer in the 88th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Twierdza Osowiec got a freekick which was hit by Jorg Saelens. Twierdza Osowiec's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
