If Severiano Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 3rd minute Severiano Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andoni Zubizarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Enekoitz came free, but Andoni Zubizarreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, TeamSystem's Severiano Enekoitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andoni Zubizarreta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 16 minutes of play, TeamSystem's Göktürk Veli made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andoni Zubizarreta was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute, Carlos Marchena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute of the match Tomás Franco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andoni Zubizarreta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Andoni Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Enekoitz in the 22nd minute of the match. Müslüm Harmandalı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentin Gougeon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Enekoitz came free, but Andoni Zubizarreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TeamSystem's Müslüm Harmandalı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save TeamSystem from getting a goal against them. A collision led to TeamSystem getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ayi Yılmaz hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Onuralp Kılıçalp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andoni Zubizarreta skillfully saved the ball. The Valencia C.F. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TeamSystem were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Göktürk Veli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Valencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Pellegrino. Andoni Zubizarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliusz Kochniarczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Florentin Gougeon notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of TeamSystem's Müslüm Harmandalı. Müslüm Harmandalı was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. TeamSystem's attentive Tomás Franco managed to snatch the ball when Maurício Pellegrino made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Müslüm Harmandalı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentin Gougeon, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Müslüm Harmandalı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentin Gougeon in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd play minute Severiano Enekoitz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Andoni Zubizarreta. 1-3. Müslüm Harmandalı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentin Gougeon in the 78th minute of the match. Müslüm Harmandalı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentin Gougeon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85thth minute of the game Florentin Gougeon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TeamSystem's Müslüm Harmandalı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severiano Enekoitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andoni Zubizarreta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severiano Enekoitz ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Enekoitz in the 87th minute of play forced Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Valencia C.F. defense, Göktürk Veli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andoni Zubizarreta. The Valencia C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andoni Zubizarreta should have stopped the shot. TeamSystem's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
