Grant Blacknell made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Aurelio Martorella sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Şükür Hagi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cătălin Ioanițiu was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Camron Rhodes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Camron Rhodes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1.
