Edin Džeko ran back to his position shaking his head. Haakon á Borg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edin Džeko in the 33rd minute. Edin Džeko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Haakon á Borg made a huge save. GeRaÇãO-83 were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Cura del Futbol's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Per-Oskar Ekgren took the corner. Paulinho Ralf hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute, Jiang Xiang Sheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jörn Helström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grzegorz Siekierski having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Grzegorz Siekierski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörn Helström. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan Fresco got free with Grzegorz Siekierski in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haakon á Borg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Cristofor, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Grzegorz Siekierski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörn Helström in the 95th minute of the match.
