The supporters of KS Blizne booed when Leicester Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camron Rhodes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Camron Rhodes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrzej Majusiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KS Blizne's Andrzej Majusiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şükür Hagi in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camron Rhodes in the 18th minute of play forced KS Blizne's goalkeeper Andrzej Majusiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute John Doe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Blacknell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, KS Blizne's goal looked a bit too open when Şükür Hagi came free, but Andrzej Majusiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Leicester Lions got a corner. KS Blizne's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michal Budzyn ran over to the corner to take the kick. 36 minutes into the match, KS Blizne's goal looked a bit too open when Tod Freeman came free, but Andrzej Majusiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Doe in the 39th minute of play forced Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Doe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Grant Blacknell came out and tried to block the shot, but John Doe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, KS Blizne's Marcin Treppa got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Gazanfer Ülkümen took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Grant Blacknell to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şükür Hagi made a kick off. After some careless play in the KS Blizne defense, Camron Rhodes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrzej Majusiak. The KS Blizne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrzej Majusiak should have stopped the shot. Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Dudzik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcin Treppa in the 65th minute of play forced Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grant Blacknell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gazanfer Ülkümen, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Grant Blacknell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomasz Dudzik's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 69th match minute, Leicester Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tod Freeman to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Treppa came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Dudzik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patryk Plučinský hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes, KS Blizne's John Doe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Grant Blacknell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KS Blizne reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gazanfer Ülkümen in the 75th minute of play forced Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78thth minute of the game Gazanfer Ülkümen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 86 minutes, Karol Balonek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS Blizne and the Leicester Lions players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, KS Blizne's Karol Balonek got a free kick in the 86th minute. With an all-out effort, Leicester Lions's Andrzej Majusiak threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Camron Rhodes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Stanislaw Zahemski's late challenge caught a Leicester Lions's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stanislaw Zahemski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to KS Blizne getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Stanislaw Zahemski hit a great ball. Andrzej Majusiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tod Freeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KS Blizne fans cheered their team off the field, for while Leicester Lions had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
