Spectators: 7898 (Terracing: 5921, Seating: 1818, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmondo Pittelli started the match with the kick off. Breno Reis made in the 14th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Aurelio Martorella. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Paganelli in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haakon á Borg saved Cura del Futbol from getting behind. In the 18th minute Edmondo Pittelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haakon á Borg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörn Helström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Cătălin Ioanițiu made a huge save. A collision led to Cura del Futbol getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Froilan Fresco hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Aurelio Martorella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haakon á Borg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santoryu FC's Cătălin Ioanițiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Santoryu FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmondo Pittelli in the 36th minute of play forced Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Haakon á Borg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Santoryu FC were awarded a corner. Aurelio Martorella went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Jörn Helström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cura del Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörn Helström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Ioanițiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Grzelak came free, but Haakon á Borg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Santoryu FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Cura del Futbol's Haakon á Borg got control of the ball when Edmondo Pittelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute, Chu Rong Jun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haakon á Borg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aurelio Martorella. Froilan Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Cătălin Ioanițiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cătălin Ioanițiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Fresco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Martorella got free with Haakon á Borg in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Froilan Fresco made a precise shot to the right of Cătălin Ioanițiu. Santoryu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Cura del Futbol's Haakon á Borg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Cura del Futbol from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute Froilan Fresco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Ioanițiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Froilan Fresco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santoryu FC's Cătălin Ioanițiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cătălin Ioanițiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörn Helström in the 87th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes Cura del Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Solari. Cătălin Ioanițiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Helström, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Jörn Helström scored 2-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cătălin Ioanițiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cura del Futbol's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
